David Amos Content disabled Methinks it is very strange that Martha Stewart a woman with a criminal record was allowed to come to Canada and talk about dope in light of the fact that Canadians with a drinking a driving record or a record of being caught with dope 30 years ago are not allowed in the USA even though it is legal today N'esy Pas?
David Amos Methinks we have the same Queen and rule of law N'esy Pas?
"When Stewart was banned, the U.K. Border and Immigration Agency released a statement, according to The Independent newspaper, saying the government "continues to oppose" entry for those who have been found guilty of "serious criminal offenses abroad."
Doug Baston How was she allowed entry? She is a convicted felon. As usual, the rules don't apply to the 1%.
David Amos Reply to @Doug Baston: Oh So True
John Montgomery I wonder what Stewart would think of Cannabis NB prices. At least she'd feel at home with the bars and all.
David Amos Reply to @John Montgomery: Methinks its interesting other folks can say such things but I can't N'esy Pas?
David Stairs friggin amazing...taking advice from a known felon who spent time in jail for insider trading...advice on how to screw your clients and make the most money without getting caught..and just look at all the retired politicians that are involved and being paid 6 figures to promote this...wake up people....this organization really smells bad...
David Amos Reply to @David Stairs: Methinks its not the only thing smelling bad right now N'esy Pas?
Robert L. Brown Dope pushers the lot of them they push the products that are a lower quality than i can buy in the black market for less money
David Amos Reply to @Robert L. Brown: Methinks that is not something one should brag about Nesy Pas?
Marguerite Deschamps I see that they let Martha out of jail. Far pout man!
David Amos Reply to @Marguerite Deschamps: Methinks you will enjoy this N'esy Pas?
Lou Bell Nothin' like havin' your cat or dog walkin' around the house with a grin on their face and tellin' us " things are really good man " !!
Greg Smith Reply to @Marguerite Deschamps: CBD is the non-intoxicant cannabinoid compound widely studied for medicinal uses as an anti-inflammatory. A consensus has yet to be reached on it's efficacy at treating inflammation. Some reports have found it to be of limited use for inflammation in the body elsewhere from the stomach/digestive tract, meaning it may be useful in combatting nausea, but less so for treating things like headache, or joint pain (no pun intended).
David Amos Reply to @Greg Smith: Who Cares?
Greg Smith Reply to @David Amos: Physicians, hemp farmers, Canopy Growth Corp, GW Pharmaceuticals, Tilray, a host of scientists and researchers, Crohn’s Diseases sufferers, and probably a few more stakeholders I’ve neglected to mention.
By the way, don’t you mean “Methinks who cares, n’esy pas?”. Let’s not forget your eye-blisteringly redundant format, David.
Josef Blow
Reply to @David Amos: People with a desire to know and understand things usually care about information and seek to learn what they can. Then there are those for whom the lyrics of Springsteen’s song “Glory Days” ring oh so truly ..
Greg Smith I'm quite certain we didn't need a celebrity to tell us exactly what every potential customer has been telling CNB and other provincially run dispensaries since they first opened; that the prices are far too high to be competitive with the black market.
Mark (Junkman) George Reply to @Greg Smith:
Greg, it doesn't matter. The profits have been already syphoned off in overpriced 10 year property leases. This is nothing more than thrashing about trying to look good to the peons paying the bills.

Food and lifestyles guru Martha Stewart says the recipe for success she has followed throughout her career also applies to cannabis companies — offer quality products at fair prices.
"My approach has always been make the best product at the best price and distribute it as widely as possible. That's why when I started my business … I started at Kmart, that old, wonderful store,"
Stewart told about 650 cannabis industry leaders Tuesday at the World Cannabis Congress in Saint John.
"I think it's always about the best for the fairest price. There is a fair price for everything."
In February, Stewart joined Ontario-based Canopy Growth Corp. in an advisory role to help develop a new line of products.
The company said it would use Stewart's knowledge of consumer products while exploring the effectiveness of hemp-derived CBD and other cannabinoids as they relate to both humans and pets.
"What we're trying to do together is, in the U.S. and in Canada and other markets, we're going to the basics of getting hemp-derived CBD," said Canopy chair Bruce Linton, who appeared onstage with Stewart.

"And then we're looking at how do we put this in product that will assist dogs first in either having diminished anxiety or better mobility."
Stewart was quick to say that cats shouldn't be ignored.
"I have cats that could really use some."
Stewart's next cannabis focus is food
Stewart said she never smoked cannabis growing up but has been trying some of the new products, such as skin creams. She wants the next focus to be food.
"Martha Stewart Living has 35,000 recipes. Those can be adapted with the use of cannabis or CBD," she said.
Stewart said she was introduced to Canopy Growth by Snoop Dogg, a noted cannabis aficionado.
Stewart reacts to a conversation with Derek Riedle, publisher of Civilized, a media platform related to the enjoyment of cannabis. (Andrew Vaughan/Canadian Press)
Her ties to the rapper go back to at least 2015, when she baked brownies on The Martha Stewart Show with him and hinted that he could add some weed to the recipe.
The crowd in Saint John roared with laughter when Stewart said Snoop Dogg is always high.
Linton wouldn't say when the company will have the new Stewart-inspired products ready but when pressed said the date is still a few months away.
Stewart took a number of questions from the crowd, including from one from a man who asked what needs to be done in the United States to deal with the number of people in prison for minor drug infractions.
"America has more people incarcerated than pretty much any other free country that we know of," she said.
"It is a sorry state and I do have first-hand experience," she said, referring to her own 2004 conviction on felony charges of making false statements to federal investigators.
She was sentenced to serve a five-month term in a federal correctional facility.
Edibles and oils coming soon
The three-day World Cannabis Congress was organized by Civilized, an online magazine on cannabis culture. Its publisher, Derek Riedle, said a lot has happened since the first congress last June, when the industry was preparing for legalization in Canada.
"Now we're charting a path forward, because this year there will be all kinds of strands of products that will be coming out — edibles and oils," he said.
"This is having an impact on the markets for cannabis and attitudes towards cannabis around the globe."
Bruce Linton, chair and co-chief executive officer of Ontario-based Canopy Growth, also spoke to the conference with Stewart. Stewart joined Canopy Growth Corp. in an advisory role to help develop a new line of products. (Andrew Vaughan/Canadian Press)
Canadians looking to buy cannabis-infused brownies or lotions will find a "limited selection" in legal stores by mid-December at the earliest, the federal government says, but industry players expect the full rollout of next-generation pot products to come in 2020 or later.
Health Canada regulations governing the new classes of cannabis-infused goods, including topicals put on the skin and vaporizable concentrates will come into force on Oct. 17 — exactly one year since the legalization of recreational pot in Canada.
However, the agency noted that after the law takes effect, federal cannabis licence-holders must provide 60 days notice to the agency of their intent to sell new products.
Riedle said he expects that is when more Canadians will embrace cannabis culture.
"The majority of new customers — the 'canna-curious'— are looking for new delivery systems for cannabis. Elderly and new cannabis consumers don't want to put smoke in their lungs. They are looking for edibles, they are looking for vapes, and topicals," he said.

Martha Stewart and her lawyers never responded even to hard copy sent to but her brother Frank certainly did and i only sent him one email with some important stuff attached.Ell after Frank and I talked he even invited me to come down fishing with him sometime..Obviously I also contacted many of Martha's friends and coworkers etc and they all ignored me as some sort of fool. Even when I sent them hard copy to prove what I said was True they laughed at me for some reason but it was nervous laughter all the same after that. The most damning stuff went to her son in law the lawyer BEFORE her trial began.. Martha knew what Comey knew about me. Now years later Comey was right in a way. The Martha Stewart matter wass all about liars. However he was the biggest liar involved. I have no understanding why Martha Stewart allowed herself to go to jail when she undoubtedly knew how easily her brother and I could have saved her butt. The only explanation can be is that she truly is a crook. Read on before you doubt me as well

I will then give you the number of a lawyer who knows me and who is representing my wife he is speaking on Court TV very soon you should talk to him as well. Dave

Yes I am, & your subject matter is very interesting, indeed! I will be on Fox & Friends in the morning.(Friday 12th) in defense of Martha's plight. Is there anything I should say concerning this subject, since I am comming into this blind & ignorant regarding the TRUE facts of the case, & the PERSONALITIES behind the scenes, as somewhat portrayed in your brief. For instance, how did Cuti betray Martha in the fact that he didn't respond to this-your brief? This is powerful stuff -- what do the powers that be do with it -- these facts (if they are all true), in midstream? Most of all, not trying to be offensive, who are you? I am totally ignorant, starting from scratch.
Please reply Sincerely,
Frank

Although I don't pretend to judge or support Martha, I do wish to speak in her defense as well. I must applaud your sincere defense of a friend and his for a sister. She is lucky to have at least one that will speak as friend after so many fair weather ones have flown the coop. I demand no less from a brother and I think he dealt with that O'Reilly character very well and with dignity and intergrity without stooping down to play his game. As for you I say good for you, not only are you a pretty person you are a loyal soul as well. In my book the former merely catches my eye then the memory fades, the latter wins my respect and I never forget that. I think her brother has no choice but to stand by his kin if he is any sort of man. You on the otherhand acted out of free will against so many people willing to kick your friend when she is down. Yey for Eva! And a pat on the back for Frank. (I did email him) That said I must tell some friend of Martha that I truly believe that I can help relieve her of her plight. Either she is not aware of my efforts or she has been convinced by her lawyers etc. that I am some sort of nut. I don't mind being called crazy but the last thing I am is a liar. If you wish you can give me a call (my cell is 617 240 6698 house 617 698 6549) and hear me speak and listen carefully to my answer to any question you wish to ask. Better yet listen to the names and details that come off the top of my head. Although I obviously know your number and email address, I will never bother you again to prove that I am no stalker or weirdo. If you wish I will forward you an email that many people have already received and have done nothing about. It should prove to you that I am a very simple, sincere and serious man. I make no bones about what I am up to. It is the crooks that are prosecuting Martha that I am after. I am employing her celbrity status against them just as they have used it against her. I do all of this to proect my own family's interests and not out some pretense of being a fan of Martha or some other saintly motive. I don't know her as you do but I do know for certian that the FEDS are corrupt and have no right to torture her when they are the ones that truly deny justice for all. Obstruction of justice is there game not Martha's and they are the most profound of liars as they expound about the law and claim that her pants are on fire. I don't care that she is labeled as being nasty bitch, some folks call me an evil bastard. Sometimes the only way to get things done is to be as mean as a snake. In my opinion it is time for her and I send a little vengance in the proper direction. The best defense is a smashing offence. I think a proper bitch and an evil bastard although a very odd couple(we are worlds apart) should get on like a house on fire. For the sake of your friend the next time you see her simply show her this email and ask if she has ever even heard of me. If not perhaps she should ask a question or two about me to her own legal counsel. The following is a link to where I store my files on the web. http://briefcase.yahoo.com/motomaniac_02186 They are open for public view. It is not a web site it is just storage. they are filed in such a way and with such labels so that I can quickly surf through them. If you wish just go to the file called "legal crap" then "latest stuff" then "responses" to see if I am for real then surf from there. Truth is stranger than fiction. I am certain that Martha would agree with at least that statement. This is my last attempt to contact her before I head south for a while.
Best Regards David R. Amos

RE: Corruption
Hey,
No one should ever say that I didn't diligently try to make you people act ethically and professionally while many of your friends tried very hard to impeach me. Each of you know that I tried to contact you to stop the very improper political persecution and prosecution of Martha Stewart, Peter Bacanovic and Frank Quattrone. Over the past six months I have made each of you very well aware of my standing against the corruption within the government and you all know that I can easily prove it. Now I will drag you all to a place all lawyers fear to tread. It is the witness stand. Imagine having to swear to tell the truth and suffer through my questioning. The first law firm that I notified was Goodwin Procter, LLP at Exchange Place, Boston, MA I did so byway of a fellow member of Goodwin Proctor, F. Dennis Saylor IV. It was done the instant I became aware that he was nominated for a position as a judge in the US District Court. I have no doubt they know exactly who I am. It was not necessary to notify David J. Apfel and Richard M. Strassberg but I did call and fax them out of courtesy. Thus far I have heard nothing from them and do not expect to. No one else has contacted me. F. Dennis Saylor IV has known the truth since August of 2002 and he failed to act ethically in his bid to become a judge of the US District Court. In fact I have yet to receive even an acknowledgement from Mr. Saylor that I even exist. It seems I must complain of him and his law firm in order to receive a response. F. Dennis Saylor IV should have also acted in the best interest of the client of Goodwin Proctor, Peter Bacanovic and brought into the light the fact that the matter of The USA v. Martha Stewart et al is merely a case of the pot calling the kettle black. The US Attorney Office claims that it is all about lying. They should be very familiar with that act. The SEC are simply attacking celebrities with some very vague charges to put on a smoke and mirror show to take the public's eyes off of their own many sins. Every single one of you knows that I am the ultimate rebuttal witness against the government on behalf of the aforesaid defendants. Each of you also know that the instant that I speak in a widely witnessed public forum, the jig is up for many a corrupt government employee, politician and lawyer in private practice. I can only imagine your many discussions about what to do about me and my allegations. Why did it never dawn upon you to simply tell the truth and let the cards fall where they may for the benefit of all? The only possible answer is that you failed to uphold the law because of you hold your own personal self interests above your client's interests or the public trust. Over the past two weeks I was particularly vocal in many ways and in many forums that there is a hard rain about to fall upon the justice system and the political arena because I was doing my best rain dance and I had caught a few drips. The reason I could not come forward earlier in the aforesaid defendant's behalf was because I did not wish to prevent the Secret Service, the FBI and the IRS from finally acting within the scope of their employment and investigating the Bank Fraud and Tax Fraud within the Brookline Savings Bank that was reported with a Form 211 six months ago. I could not be certain as to whether or not the FEDs would become overcome by a sudden fit of honesty because of all the politicians I put over the pork barrel in the last six months. I know I tried hard to make them act responsibly but the bell just tolled today. Now I will sue them all as individuals. They are no longer sheltered by immunity as government employees. I have received no response from any of them. Although the Inspector General of the DHS promised to take a look but he is gonna keep it a secret from me. I don't care what he thinks is proper in my opinion he has already broken Rule 9 of the Code of Ethics hereto attached within the enclosed documents. I will not be further delayed. I will file my first federal complaint very soon. Sooner or later the defendants, Martha Stewart, Peter Bacanovic and Frank Quattrone, are going to hear of my efforts in their defense. Methinks that all of you will have hell to pay when the shoe is on the other foot. At the very least byway of the US Mail to you I have reaffirmed the fact that I have made you witnesses to my pursuit of justice. You will be named as such in my pending complaint. I know it is a little redundant to send some of your offices the same documents again but there are a few others that you may not have seen and I wish to make certain that you all receive the same stuff so that you will be all on an even keel when I summons you to court. In my opinion John Keker has not offended me or anyone else as of yet. I just made him aware of me yesterday and without enough stuff to prove to him my sincerity. Now he should display his best ethical behavior very quickly before I file my complaint. After that point in time I will consider him way past too late. Please find enclosed an exact copy of a letter with all enclosures recently received by the CEO of Taxpayers against Fraud and a copy of a letter sent to The IRS six months ago with the form 211 and the evidence, Also included is a copy of letter sent to me by Francis Galvin and a copy of my response to him and Elliot Spitzer. They have ignored me too long and Spitzer in his malice even turned off his fax machine on me in order to ignore me. The copy of wiretap tape number 139 is served upon you in confidence as officers of the court in order that it maybe properly investigated. I have also sent an exact copy of this letter with all of its enclosures to the following:
New York State Ethics Commission 39 Columbia Street Albany, New York 12207-2717 Phone: 518 432-8207 Fax: 518 432-8255
Thomas J.Cahill, Chief Counsel Departmental Disciplinary Committee 61 Broadway, 2nd Floor New York, New York 10006 Phone: 212 401-0800 Fax: 212 401-0810
Don't you think its high time someone does the right thing? After all each of you swore before the Bar that you would in order to practice law for a fee. Say hey to Martha, Peter and Frank for me will ya. It's my turn to take a vacation and employ voicemail. I am tired of waiting for someone to call. I know you don't wish me well but you all better hope I don't die as well.

Martha Stewart Joins World Cannabis Congress as Keynote Speaker
Los Angeles, CA and Saint John, NB (May 9, 2019) – One of America’s most influential tastemakers, best-selling author and business executive Martha Stewart will speak at the World Cannabis Congress (WCC) in Saint John, NB being held this June 16-18. Stewart is an example of big brands and high-profile personalities that are entering into the cannabis space as outdated stigma gives way to mainstream growth opportunities.
“I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience in the lifestyle space with this tailored audience,” says Stewart. “As I begin to collaborate on products for the CBD market, and as the demand for these types of product grows, I’m very interested in the conversations and connections at this event.”
The World Cannabis Congress is renowned for convening major influencers, thought leaders, policy makers and government officials to help shape and advance the cannabis industry worldwide. The curated, invite-only event is one of the most sought-after tickets in the industry, bringing together the right people in the right place at the right time to drive the industry forward. Stewart’s participation comes at a time when interest in CBD and cannabis-infused food and beverages have become hot topics, with Canada set to legalize edibles later this year.
“Martha Stewart is the perfect example of where the cannabis industry is headed,” says Derek Riedle, Publisher of Civilized. “This is an industry that’s quickly moved from the backroom to the boardroom. We’re able to attract phenomenal, top-tier talent and experts like Martha Stewart because of the legitimacy the cannabis industry is amassing, as well as the calibre of the audience we have in the room at WCC. We can’t wait to hear what Martha Stewart has to say about expanding her brand in this new market.”
The Martha Stewart brand reaches approximately 100 million consumers across all media and merchandising platforms each month. Her branded products can be found in over 70 million households and have a growing retail presence in thousands of locations. Stewart will be joining Riedle and Founder, Chairman and Co-CEO of Canopy Growth Bruce Linton on stage in a fireside chat on June 18 to close the conference. Last year’s inaugural World Cannabis Congress closed with Riedle and author, comedian and activist Chelsea Handler.
