Reply to @Johnny Horton: Public companies are obligated to report their financial results. Crown corporations such as NB Power, funded with taxpayer dollars, are effectively owned by tax paying New Brunswickers, and as such should share the same obligation as every other public company. Without this obligation, you'll continue to see entities like NB Liquor employ creative accounting tricks to embezzle taxpayer dollars.

Reply to @Johnny Horton: I’ll just wait for you to explain why crown corporations like NB Power(ie: taxpayer owned) should be exempted from reporting to the public. All public corporations post their financial results at least annually, but often quarterly. You’re confusing laws that apply to private citizens with those that apply to public companies. This being said, the province publishes gross wages earned by all NB physicians, who in most cases own their private practices. In this case it’s because they bill through Medicare; also taxpayer funded. All I’m stating is there needs to be consistency in the reporting standards. At the moment there is not.
David Amos
Reply to @Greg Smith: NB Power is not audited
Greg Smith
Reply to @David Amos: Except by the AG every regime change.
