Chris, along with other 3 men who have been under pre-trial detention for over 600 days in Alberta, Canada are considered to be political prisoners being made example of for their participation in a protest that blockaded Canada-US border for 2-weeks to pressure the government to drop Covid-19 vaccine mandates.
Today, Chris is having a bail hearing ahead of his trial next week. He is charged with conspiracy to murder police. There’s an “automatic” publication ban on the hearing.
